I did change the capacitors on the tone generator of my B2 some years ago. Many people recommend this, as the old caps will drift in value over the years, and you can get a brighter sound after you change it. You have to unsolder all the old ones and put in new ones.
I am not sure if I would do it again, because there are some drawbacks. First, the sound doesn’t change alot. But on some frequencies the volume level changes alot, and makes the organ more screaming, I think too much. The second drawbar (5 1/3 feet) gets very lound in the upper octave, on several organs I have tried that have had the caps replaced on them. I have not replaced the caps on my B2, and it is not as bright sounding. I would however look into recapping the preamp in the B2, or recapping the leslie amp before I’d recap the tonegenerator.
Anyway, here are some pictures of the process of changing the tone generator caps.
